My 94 year old mom has no problem using the GrandPad. She love keeping in touch with her family and especially her grandchildren and their pets. We all love the photos that we can share and my mom loves the slide show of photos. A great product that is so easy to use!

This is a great way to transition communication as a smart phone becomes more challenging to use!

GrandPad has been great to connect the whole family. We share photos and make video calls and it helps us all stay connected with LOTS of miles between us all. Such a fantastic device and the customer support is like nothing you’ve ever experienced!

My 82-year-old mother now feels connected again to the family! The customer service is next level for the past 90 days I’ve researched buying Grandpad or not for my mother. So happy I finally pulled the trigger! And again for 24 hours a day service theThe casting for the customer service reps is second to none. I work in the service industry and can appreciate service. And finding the right fit. Congratulations, Grandpad you’ve done that. I have probably made recommendations gave several testimonies about my satisfaction which hopefully has led to more sales. Thank you for the creation and the innovation of Grandpad! Continue to evolve. 🙏🏽

I like GrandPad

Please correct your notification alerts! I have selected my notification preferences on the app for which I want and which I do not and your app routinely pushes “check out what you’ve been missing” and “_______ person posted” which are not notifications I have opted-in to. I don’t want to have to turn off ALL notifications because I want to be notified if my Grandma contacts me but I do not need notification when one of my 20+ cousins posts! This is a really annoying ignorance of your clients wishes and as it’s monthly paid service by us I find it particularly irksome.

This app has been working very well for the last three years or so, and then suddenly, within the last two months, the video calling feature stopped working. My 82 yo mom has no ability to make video calls with her children. She’s been on the phone numerous times with customer service getting different stories about the SIM card (which she has to correct SIM card), resetting her device, etc… The video call feature seems to work for maybe an hour after talking with Consumer Cellular and then stops working. Audio calls always work fine. Sharing photos of family always works fine. It’s the video calling that stopped working and is very frustrating. It used to be a very good experience for everyone.

The only thing that I wish is that I could download videos from GrandPad to my own computer to save there, so that I can share them with others, who don't have access to the GrandPad account

Hi, I’m Kady l’m 10 and what I love about GrandPad is I can talk to my family and post pictures and see pictures that they post and I can call them and FaceTime with them when ever I want and that is what I like about GrandPad.

My dad is in memory care, and I live abroad. The GrandPad has opened a line of communication between us that we didn’t have before! I am the administrator of his device, and the app is easy to navigate. I set up our whole family on it, and it means so much to him!

We love the GrandPad! With readily accessible support and cellular service, it made it easy for my elderly mother to stay connected with her family, attend graduations and First Communions virtually during the pandemic, and see new family pictures everyday. She owns no other electronic devices, had no Internet, and never used a computer, but she was able to overcome all this with GrandPad. Thank you for a great product and extraordinary customer service! P.S. By adding my sister-in-law in Poland to the GrandPad circle, she was able to show pictures to my 97-year old father-in-law. An unexpected benefit!

What a wonderful device. I highly recommend it. I wish I would have gotten it sooner for my dad. That is my only regret. The people behind it are wonderful as well.

Grand Pad is amazing! I just sent pictures from out of the country to her and excited to be able to have her see pictures so quickly. The customer service is fantastic!

It’s so nice to connect and see our family through an app easy to use for the older generation. My complaint is that the quality of pictures (especially videos) uploaded is very poor. I feel that in 2023 an app should be able to upload clear pictures and videos from an iPhone.

If you’re not sure, give it a try! You won’t regret it. My 89 and 90 year old parents learned how to use it easily and quickly. The one time we had to contact support, they were extremely kind and patient and solved the problem without pointing out user error - they want to help you have a great experience. We all love how it keeps the whole family connected!

My 90 year old mom with dementia and so from the start 3 years ago I didn’t add the games app for her. I don't like the Dice game added the dice icon to top of the app. It is confusing for her hen it pops out during a video call and annoying for family members to deal with. Why is is there? Was this addition actually piloted with seniors who typically have cognitive decline issues.

Wish there was an option to dial 911 for emergency cases. Was told it’s not an option since Grandpad is internet-based. Hope company can consider adding the option soon.

My dad is using minimal features (phone and music) but he is learning and it is going great! We don’t want to overwhelm him with too much too fast since he has never even used a computer or had a smartphone!

We as a family can all stick together? Mom loves her Grandpad and how helpful when she was in the hospital, I could watch how things were going and mom was never alone, she was calling everyone!

My father will be 90 in just a few weeks and he caught on just fine! He absolutely loves his Grandpad that can send back voice responses to texts and emails, as well as enjoying all of the pics and videos!

We saw how much my mother at 90 yrs liked The Basics of The GrandPad (we did not overwhelm her with anything like the internet, etc.. that the GrandPad had available, rather we just had the pictures, weather and voice with video) however, my husband’s mom’s children got her The GrandPad but introduced her at 89yrs old, to everything that The GrandPad had and because their mother was used to her older children always asking “Siri,” out loud a question, their mother wanted to do the same to The Grandpad and ask “Siri,” to call ……. a person’s name, which of course The Grandpad doesn’t do as their mother has at times issues with her fingers and hands and being able to see clearly what she is pressing … We are impressed with my 90 yr old mother who has The Grandpad and can get assistance thru The Grandpad however, my mother only likes that if one of her children are there at the same time. There are all kinds and sorts of people but wanted to share as we see tgat Tge Grandpad is a Great invention as far as we see it. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

We absolutely love our grandpad !! It helps us keep our family close together an there is just nothing else like it !! It’s very educational an keeps our 85 year old mothers mind active ! I’d recommend this for all seniors !! It’s fabulous with all the options it offers !!

This makes keeping our elderly relatives in the loop! Sharing pictures with them is so easy this way, I just love this.

It’s a great device for an old person. It has large buttons and works well.

So easy to use for my Mom 78 and my uncle 89. My uncle especially is just so quick to understand it . He loves the games.

It's so nice to have a central location for grandma to find all us kids, grandkids, and her friends. The GrandPad device size is perfect, and the GUI laid out thoughtfully. Love uploading pictures she can look at and we can all share and talk about. Next time we visit in-person we'll have to try out the games it comes with too. A great use of technology to bring people together.

when I am done watching a video and I click the X it’s not working please get that fixed

Amazing way for families to bond over loved ones. The pad and the app is great. The app need to be more Elderly friendly.

My mother is 85 years old and has had 3 strokes and on her good days she’s able to call family and/or comment on the photos.

Great product! It works well and is easy to use.

Our mother loves this. At age 84 now she is able to enjoy communicating without being frustrated. My sister in law sought this out and we are all so pleased that my mother can now stay in touch with us all and her grandkids. She was not able to use a smartphone without consistently deleting stuff. This is so easy for her and now she sends emails. Which actually shocked me one day I called her to tell her how proud I was of her. I tell everyone about this and every elder should own one. Thank you for making this perfect app and allowing us to stay connected with video as we live in other states. I would suggest that you add a feature to have include group video calls.

GrandPad is a wonderful way to keep in touch with your loved ones through their aging journey - at home to nursing home. My mother has dementia, and phone calls are not enough. With GrandPad, she sees me and I can see how she is doing. GrandPad shows her the pictures that her family posts on Facebook automatically. It connects her to her family while keeping her safe. We love it!

I love Grandpad

We bought my dad a GrandPad about 6 years ago and he LOVES it, as does the rest of my family. My dad’s family consists of 6 children, 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and we all use it. My dad is 95 years old and loves the photos we post and loves to video chat with everyone, as we are spread from Alaska to Boston and Upper Peninsula of Michigan to Florida and Texas. Just last week we video chatted with him so he could “attend” my daughter’s wedding. He was so excited to feel like he was there. It has kept him active in all of our lives. GrandPad is easy to use, very reasonable priced (can’t put a price on some things) and representatives are so kind and helpful (and easy to understand). Love this company and the devices.
